Testing

Ensuring quality across the languages is vital for products released in multiple languages. The product must be tested in each of the target environments to guarantee proper localization and stable work.

The following tests are applicable:

	Verification of compatibility with the local environment Ensures that the product can properly work with hardware, operating system, and third party applications used on the local market.
	Verification of full support of the target language and regional data Ensures correct text input and output, correct storage and retrieval, date and time formats, currency, decimal separator, etc.
	Verification of the localized interfaces Ensures that the translation of UI elements is appropriate in context; that icons, layout and color schemes are suitable for the target environment. This testing is done by native speaking testers.
